Woodland Walks

Woodland Walks

The woodland at La Blanquette has just been designated a wildlife refuge by ASPAS (France’s association for wildlife protection) and we are currently developing walks and trails throughout the 12 acres.

We’ve found some amazing historic features such as old roads, remains of old houses, shepherd shelters (bories) and ancient stone bread ovens as well as seeing amazing birdlife, rabbits, boar and deer!

We hope to complete more woodland trails over the Autumn to explore.
